Phillipe Christiaens, a young frenchman who joined us last year, ended Peter Kirk’s 21 year reign as Mens Singles Champion. It was a thrilling hard fought contest the final score being 7-5, 7-5. Peter also had a hard fought semi final against John Anderson winning 7-5, 6-2 to reach the final; the first set taking 1½ hours with every game going to deuce.
