The twentieth Di Freeman Tournament was held on Sunday 29th April. We had a beautiful day and a good entry. The entry was in fact very representative of the Club - ages ranging from 15 - 80!! which Di would have really appreciated. To mark the occasion Pam Norman, Di’s sister and Catherine Herbert a close friend of Di were invited to play. Both are former members of the club and league players. A usual Richard, the tournament organiser did a fantastic job. All the matches were 6-5 wins or losses. As there was a tie for the winners place this was decided by a championship tie break which was won by Richard. A very popular result as he has never won this tournament before.
The cup was presented by Muriel Freeman, Di’s mother.
