Our Tennis Club coach is Ondrej Toman

He is a LTA Licensed Coach Level 2 and has been with us for 6 years. He coaches the Under 10 yrs and Under 13 yrs Avon County Squads.

He is a member of the LTA mini tennis and runs mini-tennis sessions at a local venue (suitable for 4 - 8 yrs).

Recent successes amongst Henleaze Juniors have been:

• Finalist at Almondsbury U14 boys Tournament
• Winners of 2001 U8 mini-tennis tournament
• One junior (one of only 2 in Bristol) is currently on the LTA U10 County Futures Programme

2005

• Cameron Brown reached the final of the U14 Open Clevedon Tournament

• Dominic Travis was a semi finalist in the U8 Avon County Closed Tournament

• Sam Ardis - winner of his U12 box division.

• Finian Bedwell, Luke Matthews and Dominic Travis were winners of their respective mixed non rated box divisions.

• Kate Reader was the Girls U9yrs Champion in the Avon County Closed Tournament

• Finian Bedwell was the Boys U9yrs Champion in the Avon County Closed Tournament

Ondrej runs an all year round comprehensive tennis program. Group coaching takes place every Saturday and also after school from Easter - Autumn.
